Seriously... the all-new Chevrolet Aveo is a hard-core adrenaline junkie. In fact, it feels
like this supermini has performed more stunts than Evel Knievel. Highlights include
skydiving from 0-60mph in 0.4 seconds, a skateboard inspired kickflip, bungee jumping,
and starring in a music video and a piece of edgy street art. Also, eleven beefy blokes
from the Shelford Rugby Club recently climbed aboard to demonstrate its spaciousness.

the total. A league table can be found on Facebook, and the winners will be confirmed late
in 2012. In the meantime, the Aveo is heading for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed
where it will be seen abseiling on its manufacturer's stand. Is this new Aveo unstoppable?
But there is more to the all-new Chevrolet Aveo than stunts. Power, for starters, comes
via four petrol and diesel engines. These produce between 75 and 101PS, the most
powerful of which can be teamed with auto transmission. As such, the race to 62mph –
without skydiving – takes between 11.7 and 14.2 seconds. Not bad for a supermini. Also,
fuel economy ranges from a decent 44.8mpg to a tremendous 78.4mpg. The latter helps
with low-cost rock climbing. This adventurer also has composed handling, a five-year
warranty, striking looks, and fantastic equipment specification. Even the basic model has:
an electronic stability programme, air-con, cruise control, MP3 playback, and alloy wheels.
All from £10,295. The new Chevrolet Aveo is clearly a tremendous car. Next stop... the
