Following last month’s preview image of the forthcoming Pro-cee’d model from Kia, the manufacturer has given another sneak peek as to what the car will look like.
As the third model in the cee’d range, Kia is set to debut the Pro-cee’d in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show with an eye to rolling it out across showrooms early next year.
While the car follows on from the previous cee’d vehicles, Kia maintained that not many features have been kept the same.
"Only the bonnet and the front wing panels are carried over from the five-door model," said Gregory Guillaume, chief designer of the company’s European division. "All other exterior panels are new and exclusive to this car."
Mr Guillaume also said it is a "comprehensive reworking" of the cee’d but with a sportier image.
July saw Kia’s senior vice president Jean-Charles Lievens maintain that the Pro-cee’d would be a "great drive".
