The Audi Q3 has received five stars the highest possible score for passive crash safety by Euro NCAP. It was also rated best in class in the ‘Small Off Road 4x4’. The Audi Q3 was assessed for its adult occupant protection in a frontal or side collision, child safety and pedestrian protection and achieved a top rating of five stars.
The Audi Q3 is offered with a choice of a 168bhp and 208bhp two litre TFSI petrol engines and a 175bhp TDI diesel, a two litre TDI will follow. The choice of four engines have start/stop technology and energy recuperation systems. The Audi Q3 is capable of 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds and returns approximately 50 plus mpg.
The Audi Q3 is the smaller sibling of the Audi Q5 and the imposing Audi Q7. The Audi Q3 went on sale last November and rivals the BMW X1 and Range Rover Evoque. Prices range from £24,560 for the 2.0 TDI 138bhp model to £31,360 for the 2.0TFSI 208bhp Quattro version with seven-speed S tronic.
