Consumer website has produced another advert for ‘the world of cars made easy’ TV campaign. Designed to highlight the Autotrader search and the upcoming new site, the advert is designed to show how easy it is to find your ideal used car online. was the first large consumer website for cars in the UK, with it’s traditional classified format proving an instant success. With the rapid growth of the internet as a medium for buying cars, more and more sites have sprung up with similar offerings.

The TV advert shows the keyword search, which allows users to put in a keyword(s) and show matching results. Whilst not ground-breaking, this together with the new version of the website due soon should help keep the as the leading used car classified site.

New car buyers have more choice, with the likes of Fifth Gear, What Car and having large choices of both new cars and car reviews in a web 2.0 format. And with Ebay Motors in the U.S. looking at a partnership with GM, there could be more choice online very soon.
