Official photos of the new BMW Mini Countryman have now been released. This new version is more than 3ft longer than the original and is also the tallest Mini ever. There is much improved interior space with four individual seats, for extra space the back two seats fold flat. The interior of the BMW Mini Countryman has plenty of kit and includes the same dials and toggle look as the original range. Customers can opt for a panoramic roof and high end audio and navigation systems.

The BMW Mini Countryman will be available with a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines ranging in power from 89 bhp in the One Diesel Mini Countryman which is capable of 50mpg to the 181bhp 1.6 litre Mini Countryman Cooper S. There are other fuel saving additions including brake energy recuperation, a stop start system and a gear change indicator.

Prices start at approximately £17,000 and the Mini Countryman will go on sale in September.
