The Ford Fiesta has emerged as the UK’s favourite car for the second year in a row. In the first ten months of 2010 the Ford Fiesta sold 98,453 units which mean that one in twenty cars sold in the UK this year has been the Fords supermini.
The Ford Fiesta is a very pleasing modern car to look at and quite distinctive. It is smart, drives well and comes with a range of economical engines. The three-door models look sportier but the five-door models are in real life more practical. The interior of the Ford Fiesta has a nice combination of textures and materials. The new all-electric power steering is perfectly weighted, precise and gives good feedback. Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) is now standard across the Fiesta range. Bluetooth and USB connection are standard in Titanium models. The Ford Fiesta is great to drive with terrific handling, precise steering and a supple well-judged ride.
Mark Simpson, Ford of Britain marketing director, said "Fiesta has taken the top sales spot for small cars every month since the start of 2009. We know that whilst customers may choose a smaller car than before perhaps for economy reasons, they still want the technology and comfort features to make their Ford Fiesta a premium choice.
