Fords low emission ECOnetic engine has been expanded now to include the mid range Zetec and the top of the range Titanium models. The addition of the new models to the current Edge ECOnetic means a three model ‘green’ line up. All three models have the specially calibrated version of the 1.6 litre 95PS Duratorq TDCi engine with Diesel Particulate Filter which gives a combined 78.5mpg.
Ford of Britain, marketing director Anthony Ireson, said ”many drivers want to drive a car with lower emissions but still want comfort, performance and an affordable price. Expanding ECOnetic across the series answers that demand, with style."
Two new colours have been introduced; Mars Red and Fashionista, DAB radio is now an option on all models and standard on Titanium. Bluetooth, voice control and USB connectivity are available from Edge to Titanium models. Keyless entry is a new convenience addition usually reserved for large cars but now on supermini Fiesta.
Prices start from £9495 for the Studio rising to £16,245 for the ECOnetic Titanium.
