The Ford Galaxy and Ford S-Max have both been revised and updated and will make a debut at the Brussels Motor Show in January.

The biggest addition is the new 2.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine which replaces the 2.3 litre in both models. This new turbocharged unit is more powerful and much cleaner. The engine is capable of 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds and returns an impressive 34.9mpg combined and co2 emissions of 189g/km. Ford's Powershift dual clutch automatic gearbox will be offered with both the STCi and the revised 2.0-litre TDCi diesel which comes in 113bhp, 138bhp and 161bhp guises.

A slight facelift with a new bumper and taillights and the higher specified models sporting LED lights as standard. There are other extras such as reversing camera and blind spot warning system and the opportunity of ambient LED interior lighting package if requested. The cabin has been updated with new materials and choice of colours. Prices are expected to be released in January when the cars debut at the motor show.
