Hyundai is celebrating record sales for the first half of the year in Europe. The growth in Hyundai’s sales is partly due to new model launches that have driven sales to an all-time high and customer demand is increasing.
Registrations in Europe during the first six months of 2015 have totaled 237,221 which is an 8.1% increase over registrations delivered in the same period last year. Hyundai Motor accounted for 3.2% of all cars registered in Europe during the first half of 2015. More than 90% of the vehicles Hyundai sells are designed, engineered and tested in Europe to meet the needs of European customers.
New Model Launches
Hyundai will replace or renew 80% of its model line-up in Europe this year. The newcomers include the New Generation i20 range which now has a Coupe version plus the popular Hyundai i30 range with the added new Turbo model. The new Turbo is very quick off the mark capable of 0-60mph in just eight seconds. The hatchback will boast plenty of sporty features that include 18” alloy wheels, a Turbo sports bodykit, a Turbo badge and sports suspension. Hyundai’s new i40 Saloon and Tourer have also brought interest from customers across Europe.
All new Hyundai Tucson
The all new Tucson will be arriving on the European market during the coming months, it will join the company’s best-selling C-SUV segment attracting more new customers which will boost sales even further. The Tucson boasts a bold and athletic presence and a proud stance. The strong, sporty SUV appearance is enhanced by the upright silhouette and sleek character line, the distinctive chrome-framed hexagonal grille connected to the headlamp clusters creates a powerful impression.
