The Hyundai i40 Tourer has been awarded ‘Best Estate Car’ at the 2011 Scottish Car of the Year Awards.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer fought off competition from the Peugeot 508 SW, Ford Focus Estate, Astra Sport Tourer and the BMW 5 Series Touring. Hyundai UK’s managing director, Tony Whitehorn, said “we are absolutely delighted that the i40 Tourer has won the award for ‘Best Estate Car’ of the Year. This is our first award for a vehicle which represents yet another remarkable step change for Hyundai, offering elegant design, practicality, economy and exceptional value for money.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer is offered in three main trim levels; Active, Style and Premium. There is a choice of three efficient engines, four power outputs and manual or automatic transmission. Standard features on the new Hyundai i40 Tourer include 16” alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, leather steering wheel with audio controls, electric heated door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, electric front and rear windows and electric parking brake with automatic hold function.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer is on sale now with prices starting at £18,395.
