Hyundai will launch their own scrappage scheme when the governments scheme comes to an end later this month.
The Korean company are allowing people who own a Hyundai i10, i20 or i30 to trade it in for a new 10 registration model under their ‘Happy Returns Scheme’. For a new Hyundai i10 the customer will hand over their old i10 plus £499, for the i20 its £599 and the i30 £749. The Hyundai i30 models feature ESP stability control, ABS braking, twin front and side airbags plus full length curtain airbags.
All Hyundai models have 5-speed manual transmission except the 2.0-litre which has a 6-speed box and a four-speed automatic which is available with the 1.6-litre engines in the Premium trim level.
