 Mazda £3,000 to £5,000 scrappage savings

The Mazda Scrappage Scheme cuts the price of your new, low emission, environmentally friendly vehicle by between £3,000 and £5,000 until December 31st 2018. To qualify:

  • Part exchange a car of any make that was registered on/before December 31st 2010 (that you have owned for at least 60 days) 
  • Order a version of the Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3 or Mazda CX-5 that has low carbon emissions (less than 136g/km) 

Mazda2

The Mazda2 1.5-litre, 90PS, Black+ Edition Manual is among your prospects and “designed to stand out”, the manufacturer said. This supermini therefore has a muscular stance, black alloy wheels and a black roof spoiler. The satellite navigation, climate control and parking sensors further enhance its appeal. Summary traits include:

  • Fuel consumption: 57.7mpg (petrol) 
  • Carbon emissions: 111g/km 
  • Recommended retail price: £15,795 
  • Scrappage saving: £3,000

The Mazda3 2.0-litre, 165PS, Sport Nav Manual is the “exhilarating sporty hatchback”, the manufacturer argued. Expect, therefore, confident handling and brisk performance from this small family class vehicle. Related strengths include stability control that intervenes to prevent a spin if, for example, you go into a corner too quickly and struggle for grip. Summary characteristics include:
