The all new BMW M6 Coupe and Convertible goes on sale in September with prices starting at £93,795.
The BMW M6 is powered by BMW’s 4.4 litre twin turbocharged V8 petrol engine and seven speed M DCT paddle-shift gearbox. It is capable of 0-62mph in just 4.2 seconds (the convertible 4.3 seconds) and has a top speed of 155mph.
Styling upgrades over the standard BMW 6-series include 19in alloy wheels, a carbon-fibre reinforced plastic roof (the Convertible uses a fabric roof), wider front wings to cover a front track that has been increased by 30mm, as well as a deeper front spoiler. At the rear there is a new diffuser and quad exhaust pipes.
The interior of the new M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible is finished in fine grain extended Merino leather. The new M Sport seats feature an integrated seat belt system, electric seat adjustment, a pneumatic lumbar adjustment and manually adjustable under thigh support. Active head restraints also feature, and the M logo embossed into the shoulder area is the finishing touch. Customers can personalise their cars with an upgrade to 20” alloy wheels, M Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Internet, BMW Night Vision and a Bang and Olufsen Advanced audio system.
