According to research by new-car-discount.com, the cheapest time to buy a new car is in the last quarter of the year, when manufacturers are chasing new car registrations and trying to force their inventory onto the dealer network.

Discounts of up to 30% are not uncommon on mass market cars. Pre-registration occurs on a month by month basis with most manufacturers 'encouraging' dealers to register cars they haven't sold. Some of the larger PLC's are registering thousands of car every month they haven't sold.

With new deals coming our daily, if you are in the market for a cheap new car, keep checking back daily for the latest prices- we update every morning at around 2am to make sure we bring you the best deals.
