The new Peugeot 208 has been awarded five stars by Euro NCAP; it is the first car in its segment to obtain five stars which is the highest possible rating. This year the independent organisation Euro NCAP has introduced a new level of award which makes it even more challenging to obtain high star ratings.

The Peugeot 208 Access trim entry level model is equipped as standard with a high level of equipment: ABS, ESP, six airbags, rear Isofix fixings, speed limiter, front seat belt warning, collapsible steering column, and more. Its structure also contributes to occupant protection: aluminium absorption beam, very high strength steel (VHSS) and ultra-high strength steel (UHSS) panels.

Order books are now open for the eagerly awaited new 208 the car will go on sale the 28th June with prices starting at £9995.
