The new Renault Scenic offers a great choice of engines, the engines that stand out would be the 1.4 TCe and the 2.0 dCi. The 1.4TCe offers decent performance and the 2.0 dCi is how a two litre diesel should be. All the engines are clean and frugal for their relevant sizes especially the Renault Scenic 1.4 TCe. The Renault Scenic 1.5 dCi would also be worth considering it is in VED Band E which is £120 and returns 55 mpg.
The entry level Renault Scenic comes with air conditioning, front electric windows, keyless entry and Tunepoint (for connecting portable music players). Moving on to the Renault Scenic Expression adds automatic parking brake, child minder mirror, electric rear windows and folding passenger seat. The interior of the Renault Scenic is spacious and each seat on the second row slides back and forth independently and can be tipped forward or completely removed to create more space.
The Renault Scenic Extreme starts at £14,995 on the road it returns 37.7 mpg and can reach a top speed of 115 mph. The 1.4 Expression is priced at £17,595 whilst the top of the range Renault 2.0 dCi Privilege starts at £23,695 on the road.
