The new sportier Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE (Handling GranTurismo Evoluzione) features stiffened and lowered suspension which can make the ride a touch more jittery over uneven road surfaces. It is still supple enough to rival other supercars, the Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE changes direction with ease and has immense grip around the tightest bends. There is a new exhaust system which provides a more vocal engine, the engine is the same 612bhp V12 that is standard on the regular Ferrari 599 so no performance improvement but the F1 style paddleshift gearbox changes gear much faster.
The Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE is capable of 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 200mph.
The new Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE costs £13,960 more than a regular 599, the new version can be identified by its bespoke 20 inch alloy wheels, black rear diffuser and mesh front grille. Inside the Ferrari 599 Fiorano HGTE there is extra carbonfibre trim and new leather and Alcantara sports seats. Prices start at £207,194 on the road.
