The Vauxhall Insignia VXR is powered by a 2.8 litre V6 Turbo engine, the power output is upped by 64bhp to 325PS which means the VXR is capable of 60mph in 5.6 seconds and the top speed is 155 mph. The Vauxhall Insignia VXR rides 10mm lower than standard models, the distinctive chrome ringed vertical air-takes at the front and the matt chrome exhausts at the rear all give the car a ground hugging look.
The interior of the Vauxhall Insignia VXR is a strong point; this includes black leather Recaro sports seats and chunky flat-bottomed sports steering wheel. VXR badges are on most of the instruments including the gear knob steering wheel and the door sills.
The Vauxhall Insignia VXR specification is available in all three of the Insignia’s bodystyles, saloon, five-door hatch and Sports Tourer estate. It comes with a detailed equipment list befitting a model from the top end of the Insignia line-up and is priced accordingly. The Vauxhall Insignia VXR is on sale now and prices start at £30,995.
