The Nissan Note is quirky yet practical and well designed, upgraded for 2009 it still boasts a clever little interior with seats, front and rear, sliding in order to always provide optimum space for four passengers. There is good headroom because of the Note’s high roofline. The boot is versatile with a false bottom providing numerous options for load lugging.
There are three engines to choose from the 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol and the 1.5dCi diesel. The Note's 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engines return 44.8mpg and 42.8mpg, while the newer diesel manages up to 62.8mpg. The gear ratios have been improved on the 2009 version to improve power and fuel consumption whilst reducing emissions.
Also new for 2009 is the option of Nissan Connect, the name given to the optional extra multi media system. The range topping models come with climate control, parking sensors and automatic wipers.
However, the upgraded Nissan 1.5 dCi model with its many great features may be slightly overpriced at a cost of approximately £15,000.
