Petrol Theft up by 75 Percent

Criminals siphoning fuel from tanks

Police have stated that petrol theft has risen by an enormous 75% in the last year. With petrol prices currently at an all time high and continuing to rise, the average cost of Diesel is now 131 pence a litre and petrol costing 118 pence a litre, criminals have taken to siphoning fuel from other motorists tanks to avoid paying the high cost of fuel.

A recent AA study found that two-thirds of motorist (32 million people in the UK) plan to boycott voting for Labour if prices continue to rise at such a dramatic rate.
