Vauxhall have revealed prices for the new Vauxhall Meriva which goes on sale in June but can be ordered now.

Prices start at £15,495 for the Vauxhall Meriva 1.4 litre turbo petrol, with the Vauxhall Meriva 1.3 litre turbo petrol from £16,875 and £21,255 for the 1.7 turbo diesel. Vauxhall state that when compared to a petrol version, a motorist covering 12,000 miles a year will save around £420 if they opt for the Vauxhall Meriva CDTi diesel car.

The big talking point for the new Vauxhall Meriva is the new design rear opening back doors that have their hinges at the back to make getting out and in so much easier. The interior has also experienced a makeover with additional chrome detailing and revised fabrics that are more hard wearing and attractive.

Vauxhall have equipped the Vauxhall Meriva with the capacity for all of the passenger seats to fold flat, freeing up an enormous 1,300 litres of available space. Even with the rear seats in position, there’s a creditable 560 litres available.
