Thrill seekers should consider the high performance variant. Badged 'MG ZT', the range topping 4.6-litre generates 260bhp. That means sixty in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 155mph. Handling is sharper than the standard 75 although the ride is much firmer. Prices for 2003 MG ZT's are approximately £3,750.
Rover's demise has affected the perception of these vehicles. However, the 75 and MG ZT deserve more recognition. These are worthy machines and exceptional value for money.
