The brand new SEAT Arona is now on sale in the UK, with entry-level vehicles starting at just £16,555 - right on-par with the Peugeot 2008 (£16,300), Ford Ecosport (£15,645) and a number of others.
The Arona lineup looks to make the decision-making process as simple as possible for prospective buyers, who just need to pick a trim level, an engine and a colour.
In ascending order, the trim levels lineup as follows: SE, SE Technology, FR, FR Sport, and then the flagship XCELLENCE and XCELLENCE Lux.
The Arona gets its name from the island of Tenerife, and it is the younger sibling to the Ateca SUV which has been hugely successful since its introduction earlier this year - success that the Arona will be keen to emulate.
This is the fourth new model from SEAT in just 18 months, which is a testament to hard they’ve been working to freshen up their lineup over in Barcelona, where SEAT is based.
The Arona already looks to be a promising package when it hits the showrooms in the coming months, and buyers will be happy to know that they needn’t spend thousands on optional extras, as the trim levels comprehensive from the ground up when compared to similar alternatives.
Alloy wheels, roof rails, bi-colour roof, automatic headlights, Bluetooth, Aux, USB, DAB radio, leather trimmings and loads more are all included in the entry-level cars.
