The Skoda Yeti has picked up three awards from Total Off Road Magazines 4x4 of the Year Awards. The Skoda Yeti won the ‘Crossover Class’ due to its mix of great hatchback-like on-road dynamics and MPV versatility, it was also given ‘Special Award for Value for Money’ and named ‘4x4 of the Year’.

Alan Kidd, the magazine’s Editor said "the Skoda Yeti is much more than just a great value 4x4. Its practicality is top-notch, it's well made and well equipped and it's easy and fun to drive. Combine all that with what it can do off-road and you've got a capable, affordable adventure wagon with all the right kit and an off-the-scale fun factor. The Skoda Yeti is the ultimate family car that's why it's Total Off Road's 4x4 of the Year."

The Skoda Yeti is available with a choice of two petrol and three diesel engines. The entry engine is a front-wheel drive, petrol engine with four cylinders and 1.2 litre capacity, which delivers an impressive 105bhp (77kW). The luggage compartment volume is highly flexible; up to 1,760 litres is available by removing the rear seats. A luggage cover and net as well as lashing rings are available to secure any load. The 4x4 variants are characterised by outstanding off-road ability and excellent traction, coupled with low emission values and fuel consumption. The success of the Skoda Yeti is reflected by record sales, with 41,000 cars sold in the UK this year, increasing overall market share to over 2%.
