Ford continues to lead the way following with Volkswagen in the best selling cars in the UK charts. The SMMT figures for car sales were released and the market was down on January 2019 by -13.9% in January 2020. During the first month of the year there was still just under 150,000 people driving brand new cars. The UK car market is the second biggest in the EU behind Germany. Buyers can choose from around 350 different models available in various body styles and fuel types to suit all motoring needs.
