The current Toyota Landcruiser is the only mainstream 4x4 available in the UK with 8 seats currently, meaning a large family can be seated in comfort. Even its larger stable mate, the Landcruiser V8 (formerly the Amazon) is only a 7 seater.
The Landcruiser sports a 3 litre diesel engine, in two trims, LC4 and Invincible. The LC4 includes leather upholstery, Optitron instrument displays, turn-by-turn satellite navigation, electric tilt-and-slide sunroof, and electronically adjustable, heated front seats.
The flagship Invincible model offers Bluetooth connectivity, a rear parking monitor, leather and wood steering wheel, and smoke-finished headlamps, grille and 17-inch alloy wheels. Invincible models also benefit from Toyota's advanced DVD-based full-map satellite navigation system with ETA (Electronic Traffic Avoidance) fitted as standard.
Toyota retailers have offers on the whole range up to the 30th September. All Landcruiser models must be registered by 30th September 2009 to qualify.
