VOLVO is extending the engine options in its C70 coupe convertible range with the addition of the 136 PS 2.0 litre turbodiesel.
The 2.0D powerplant is already available in the Volvo S40, V50 Sportswagon and the C30 sportscoupe. The Volvo C70 2.0D will arrive in UK showrooms later this autumn and is available to order now.
The 2.0 litre turbodiesel is the first four-cylinder engine in the convertible and features second-generation common rail technology to provide cleaner emissions, improved fuel economy and a quieter drive.
With prices starting from £26,000 for the Volvo C70 2.0D S, the model offers 320 Nm of torque, a top speed of 127mph and 0 to 62mph in 11 seconds. The car returns 46.3 mpg on the combined fuel cycle and CO2 emissions are 161 g/km.
