Volvo has now extended their low emission range to seven different models. The latest to join the low emission range is the new Volvo S60 and Volvo V60 which both offer sub-120g/km emissions from their 1.6 turbo diesel engines.

The Volvo S60 and Volvo V60 DRIVe models are both fitted with a six speed manual gearbox and start/stop technology and have co2 emissions of just 114g/km and 119g/km respectively. The Volvo S60 is capable of 65.7mpg and the Volvo V60 approximately 62.8mpg.

Better news still is that due to the new 1.6 litre DRIVe engine there is no first year road tax to pay and thereafter the road tax bill is just £30.00. Both models have recently benefited from the R-Design treatment with restyled bumpers, chassis dynamics and interior enhancements.

All engines, including the new DRIVe 1.6 litre diesel are available in R-Design specification. Prices for the Volvo S60 start at £22,495 and the Volvo V60 start at £23,670 on the road.
