Yes please - I would love a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible. But surely you are not offering to buy me one? This open-top beauty costs an almost unbelievable £182,100, after all, and for that we could have a Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, a Jaguar XKR Convertible, AND a BMW 3 Series Convertible. Could even buy a decent house in a nice part of the UK. As such, this Bentley must have some amazing features to justify its price.

Perhaps its most important attribute is bolted to the front of the car. The 'Bentley' badge screams prestige, after all. What could possibly be higher status? In fact, super-gluing this marque's insignia to an old ironing board would probably double its value. This beast's imposing and distinctive road presence further justifies its price. As such the Continental Supersports Convertible is a lengthy 4,805mm, looks out-of-this-world, and its kerb weight is a monstrous 2,395kg. To put this in perspective, the Ford Mondeo weighs from 1,435kg.

Now, please pay attention – you should know this if you are buying me a Bentley. The Continental Supersports Convertible is powered by an enormous 6.0-litre W12 engine. This sends 621bhp through six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. The result is tremendous traction, and 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is 202mph. No wonder this leviathan empties its 90-litre fuel tank at an average rate of 17.3mpg. Oh, perhaps you could lend me some petrol money too? It goes without saying that this Bentley is supremely refined and has tremendous handling. Can I have a red one please?
