Super-spy Jason Bourne loves his Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S 3dr. But why? It produces 120PS, for starters, making it the joint most powerful variant in the range. It therefore hits 62mph in 9.9 seconds, which helps him escape from men with machine guns. Top speed is 120mph, which helps him avoid dangerous women too. However, this pleasing performance has an impact on fuel efficiency, so Bourne's run-around only averages 48.7mpg. Whereas this is respectable, the most frugal Fiesta returns 78.5mpg. This is not a major concern for Jason though, as he runs this five-speed manual via 'iffy' credit cards.

The Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S has sporty handling to suit Bourne's 'enthusiastic' driving style, so it feels composed on twisty roads. This complements its sharp looks. It has a 295-litre boot too, which is larger than the Vauxhall Corsa and VW Polo. When the spy wants to transport his vast pile of fake passports, the rear seats fold flat to increase cargo capacity to 979-litres. That is nearly twice the 'seat-up' capacity of a Ford Mondeo Estate. However, Bourne would like to see more toys for the price. Air-con and Bluetooth are options, after all, and the car costs £14,545. Oh dear, best not make this tough guy angry.
