The Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI features the least powerful engine in the Mercedes C-Class range, but what the Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI lacks in pace it gains elsewhere.

The Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI offers a superb level of refinement, the interior is roomy and comfortable and if lack of pace is something that does not bother you the Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI offers effortless cruising and is a pleasure to drive. The Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI can be ordered in differing body styles which is a huge plus over its main rival the 3 series BMW. Trim-wise there is a choice of SE, Elegance or Sport grades. The Mercedes also offers a lot of car for the money. Prices start at £24,000 for the saloon with a premium of approximately £1600 if you require an Estate.

Economically the Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI will appeal to the company car purchaser as the car returns 58.9 mpg and has co2 emissions of just 135g/km for the C200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Manual. Standard safety features include adaptive ABS brakes, ESP stability control, twin front, side and curtain airbags, driver’s knee airbag and NECKPRO head restraints.
