The new Land Rover Defender for 2012 brings even more improvements to this already legendary Land Rover model.
The 2012 Defender sports a smaller, cleaner diesel engine. This new EU5 2.2 litre diesel engine replaces the EU4 2.1 diesel. This smaller capacity engine delivers the same power, torque and economy as the 2011 model and becomes the cleanest Land Rover Defender yet to be produced.
The 2012 Land Rover Defender is on sale now with prices starting at £20,995, two new option packs are offered which allow for much greater customisation than ever before. The option packs available are the ‘Comfort Pack’ and the ‘Off-Road Pack’, each of which caters to different needs. The model also comes with the option of a plain black Pick Up hood, a plain beige hood and tinted glass on all models.
The Land Rover Defender has a top speed of 90mph and co2 emissions on the combined cycle are consistent at 266g/km for the 90 and 295g/km for the 110 and 130.
