The Renault Master Minibus makes the school run pleasant for professional drivers. That, of course, is as pleasant as possible considering they are surrounded by other people's screaming children. As such Master strengths - in top of the range from - include the overhead storage that keeps any school bags and potato guns away from long-suffering drivers. This complements the Master's seventeen seat capacity which is arranged as one row of three at the front, one row of two near the middle, then four rows of three stretching to the rear. Passengers also have individual spotlights and air-vents, which should entertain “curious” kids. If not, the Renault Master Minibus also has floor anchorage points.

The Renault Master Minibus has other virtues to make life tolerable on the school run. The 2.3-litre diesel engine produces 125hp and 310Nm of torque, for starters, so it has enough low-down pull for easy load-lugging. It also averages 33.6mpg in manual form and 34.4mpg when bolted to auto transmission, so the fuel costs are sensible. That brings us to gadgets, which provide further salvation for drivers. These include the: 62mph speed limiter, electronic stability programme, the MP3/CD stereo, and the electric step that operates automatically to help kids exit the vehicle quickly. What a relief. Prices start at £35,769, plus optional extras. These include rear parking sensors for £240, and passenger air-conditioning for a further £2,760. Anything to keep the “little monsters” comfortable, ey?
