Are motorists ignoring the SEAT Mii SE 1.0? I have to check, as only a few people seem to have heard of it. Strange, considering it shares a platform with the Volkswagen up! and the SKODA Citigo – two well recognised city cars. As such, the SEAT Mii deserves attention too. It looks modern, after all – and has a decent boot and reasonable specification. This includes the: electronic stability programme, air-con, power mirrors, CD player, MP3 compatibility, leather steering wheel, and fourteen-inch alloys. This run- around also has composed handling, although it is a city car so best avoid any “attention” grabbing heroics. 62mph in 14.4 seconds, and averages 62.8mpg. Great fuel economy, then; but a little more power would be helpful.

Power comes courtesy of a 60PS engine that propels motorists to The SEAT Mii SE 1.0 has one more trick up its sleeve that cannot be ignored. It is available, you see, via a personal contract purchase plan. Here, motorists make forty-one monthly payments of £160 plus the £125 'acceptance fee'. At the end of the term – which has an annual mileage limit of 6,000 - either return the vehicle and walk away or pay the optional £4,293.24 purchase fee to own it. Throw-in the £60 'option to purchase fee' and the total cost becomes £11,038.24 including interest. That is a substantial pile of cash considering the class, but the SEAT Mii SE 1.0 is a capable package. Best not ignore it, then.
