The new Skoda Citigo is now officially on sale. It is Skoda’s first city car and is aimed at young drivers and families in need of a second car. The Citigo has a spacious and bright cabin which can easily accommodate four adults, no matter how long the journey. It also has the largest boot in its class and a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
The Citigo is powered by a three cylinder petrol engine with one litre of displacement in two versions with 44 kW/60 hp or 55 kW/75 hp. In its most efficient Green tec variant, the new Citigo achieves a mileage of 4.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions amount to just 96 g CO2/km.
The entry level Citigo S models feature a comprehensive list of standard equipment, including Head/Thorax airbags, height adjustable steering wheel, power steering, daytime driving lights, preparation for portable infotainment device (PID), CD player with aux input and 14-inch steel wheels.
Prices for the 14-car Citigo line-up begin at just £7,630 for the entry level three-door model, with five-door cars only another £350.
