Mercedes-Benz have revealed their latest model the new SLK 55 AMG. This new model is more economical and much quicker than the car it replaces. It is capable of 0-62 mph in just 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.
This two seater cabriolet is powered by a 5.5 litre V8 engine, and debuts a clever piece of engine technology called AMG Cylinder Management, which closes off four of the eight cylinders when they're not needed. This system does save fuel when the car is driven gently. Co2 emissions are approximately 199g/km with start/stop as standard.
The New Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and prices and specification will be announced near this time.
