The Alfa Romeo 4E is set to be a flagship model, helping to strengthen the brand's identity as it transitions to an all-electric lineup. According to product chief Daniel Guzzafame, a new Alfa Spider will be possible once the brand has five electric vehicles in its range, which likely means it won’t be released until after 2027.
8. Alpine A110 EV
The electric successor to one of the most acclaimed sports cars of the past decade will be built on a custom platform, Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo has confirmed. This comes after Alpine and Lotus ended their plans to co-develop an electric sports car. The Alpine É-ternite concept gives us a preview of the electric A110, featuring a 239bhp motor and a range of 261 miles per charge. It weighs 258kg more than the current A110, bringing the total weight to 1378kg.

Renaultsport's legacy returns with a high-performance version of the Renault 5 hot hatch. It will be powered by the 215bhp motor from the larger Renault Mégane, with an overboost mode for extra power in short bursts. The car will feature torque vectoring to simulate a differential, hydraulic bump stops, and brakes borrowed from the A110. The expected range is 236 miles.

Aston Martin’s first electric car will be a rapid SUV powered by battery and motor technologies from Lucid. The nascent American EV brand claims its current-generation drive outputs are capable of outputting up to 670bhp while weighing slightly less than 74kg apiece.
