11. 2025 Mazda CX-70
Mazda is adding a new mid-size SUV called the CX-70 to its lineup. It's similar to the larger CX-90 but with two rows of seats instead of three. This means more room inside compared to the smaller CX-5 and CX-50 models. The CX-70 will likely come with a powerful six-cylinder petrol engine and a plug-in hybrid option. Although Mazda hasn't shown it yet, we anticipate it will resemble the CX-60 sold in Europe but with a wider body. Mazda aims for a more luxurious feel with the CX-70, so expect a nicer interior compared to other SUVs in its price range. It's expected to be available in dealerships in 2024.
10. 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63
The newest Mercedes C-class AMG won't have a V-8 engine like before. Instead, it's getting a hybrid turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes a huge 671 horsepower.
9. 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQG
For many years, the Mercedes-Benz G-class has been known as a tough off-road vehicle and a luxury status symbol for rich and famous people. Now, it's going electric with a new model called the EQG. It will still have the classic boxy style that fans adore, and Mercedes promises it will still be great off-road. The EQG will have four electric motors, one for each wheel, which should make it perform well both on and off the road. It will probably have a fancy independent suspension too. We expect it to come out in 2025, and it'll likely cost over £200,000 with extras.
8. 2025 Nissan Maxima
Nissan is getting ready to release an electric saloon that will share the platform with their Ariya crossover SUV. They might call it the Maxima, a name with a strong history. Expected to hit production in 2025, it could resemble the sporty IMs concept car. Nissan aims for a sporty feel similar to older Maximas and plans to rival cars like the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and Tesla Model 3.
7. 2026 Polestar 6
After starting with the stylish 1 hybrid coupe, Polestar focused on more affordable cars. But in 2026, they're going back upmarket with the Polestar 6 convertible. This car, based on the O2 concept, will have sleek looks and a powerful 884-hp all-wheel-drive system. It can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph. Sharing its structure with the Polestar 5 saloon, it will have a bonded aluminium chassis and 800-volt technology. Expect it to cost over £100,000, making it a luxurious standout in Polestar's lineup.
6. 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman EV
Porsche has only had the Taycan electric saloon in its electric lineup, but soon, their sports cars will also go electric. The first ones to switch will be the electric versions of the 718 Boxster and Cayman models, coming in 2025. We're excited because Porsche says these electric versions will have plenty of power, keep the same balanced handling as the petrol models, and even offer some kind of dynamic sound experience.
5. 2024 Ram Rampage
The Ram 1500, a big favorite among pickup trucks, will soon have a smaller version called the Rampage. The Rampage won't lack useful features like a power tailgate. It'll likely have a turbo four-cylinder engine, similar to the one in the Dodge Hornet GT SUV. We'll learn more about it in 2024.
4. 2026 Rivian R2S
Rivian is busy working on a new vehicle following their R1T truck and R1S SUV. This one will be smaller and cheaper, likely called the R2S compact SUV, which might later also come as a pickup truck. We don't know much about its specs yet, but we expect it to sacrifice some of the off-road abilities and super high power of the R1S and R1T to make it better for regular driving and more affordable. Prices could range from £40,000 to £60,000. Rivian plans to show us the R2S in early 2024 and start selling it in 2026.
3. 2028 Subaru WRX STI EV
Subaru is making the next version of its high-performance car, the WRX STI, electric. We're not sure if it'll be fully electric or a hybrid yet, but it will be all-wheel-drive and designed for high performance like a rally car. We're hoping it brings back the hatchback style and expect it to have at least 400 horsepower. But we'll have to wait until 2028 for it to hit the market.
2. 2025 Toyota MR2
Toyota is really into sports cars lately. They've stuck with the 86, a rear-wheel-drive two-door car they made with Subaru, and they've brought back the Supra, which they made with BMW. Now, they're thinking about bringing back another old favorite: the MR2. This two-seater car used to have the engine in the middle. The new version will probably be electric, which is different from the old ones. Toyota even showed a concept called the FT-Se that got us excited about this new model.

Volkswagen is updating its eccentric Microbus, the Buzz. The base model will have 282 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, but you can get an upgraded version with all-wheel drive and about 330 horsepower.
