15. Alpine A390

The A390 will be Alpine’s first crossover and will come equipped with a 464bhp tri-motor setup featuring active torque vectoring. This technology is designed to give the car a much lighter, more agile feel than its actual weight suggests.
Prices are expected to start at around £60,000. Alpine CEO Philippe Krief said the tri-motor system gives the A390 a strong sense of “perceived lightness” behind the wheel.
14. Audi RS6 E-tron

Audi Sport’s upcoming high-performance saloon and estate will deliver serious speed, aiming to rival the Porsche Taycan Turbo S and Tesla Model S Plaid. At the same time, it will retain the everyday practicality of the standard A6 E-tron.
13. BMW iX3

This SUV marks the beginning of BMW’s next-generation design, known as the ‘Neue Klasse’ (New Class). While performance and range details haven’t been revealed yet, it will use 800V electrical architecture—meaning it should be one of the fastest-charging EVs available
BMW’s popular petrol and diesel X3 models will continue to be sold alongside this new electric iX3.
12. BYD Atto 2

BYD, the major Chinese carmaker, is launching another electric compact crossover—this one aimed at rivals like the Vauxhall Frontera. Called the Atto 2, it comes with a single motor producing 174bhp and a 45.1kWh battery, offering an estimated range of around 194 miles.
Inside, it seats five people and has a 400-litre boot for everyday practicality.
11. BYD Dolphin Surf

This £18,000 city car comes from the world’s top electric vehicle manufacturer. It’s not the most exciting to drive and doesn’t have quite the same character as some of its rivals, but it offers impressive value—especially with a realistic range of around 200 miles per charge.
10. BYD Seal update

The Seal saloon receives technology and efficiency improvements, now featuring a slightly smaller battery that offers a range of 320 miles. Inside, updates include a redesigned steering wheel and upgraded materials, while the powertrains stay unchanged.
9. BYD Seal 06 GT

The 06 GT is an important addition to BYD’s growing lineup, competing directly with the Cupra Born and VW ID.3. Inside, it closely resembles the BYD Seal saloon, featuring the same large central infotainment screen. The 06 GT will also be built on the same platform as the Seal.
While full specifications are not yet available, it’s expected to share the same battery technology as the saloon, including 800V fast-charging capability.
8. Cupra Raval

This brand-new small electric car will be positioned below the Born in Cupra’s lineup, with a price expected to be under £20,000. Performance and range details are yet to be confirmed, but rumors suggest the hatchback will deliver around 231bhp and offer a range of about 273 miles.
7. Citroën ë-C3 van

Car-based vans are making a comeback—at least according to Citroën. The French automaker plans to launch an electric van priced around £15,000 this year, based on its Citroën ë-C3 SUV.
It will be equipped with a 44kWh battery (the smaller 33kWh option from the supermini won’t be available) and offer a range of about 200 miles. The van’s maximum payload capacity is 494kg.
6. Denza Bao 5

This 677bhp range-extended Land Rover Defender rival is set to launch in the UK. While it’s known as the Fangchengbao in China, it will probably carry Denza branding when it arrives here.
About the size of a Defender 110, it features a ladder-frame chassis and combines a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with electric motors on both the front and rear axles.
5. Denza Z9 GT

BYD-owned Denza is aiming to take on premium brands like BMW and Audi with its new high-end Z9 GT. In its most powerful version, this saloon–slash–shooting brake delivers 952bhp and 1,018lb ft of torque, launching from 0–62mph in just 2.9 seconds.
4. DS N°8

Stellantis’s bold French premium brand is bringing its new electric flagship, the N°8, to the UK. In its highest spec, it delivers 370bhp and offers a range of up to 426 miles—making it one of the longest-range EVs currently available.
Prices will range from £50,790 to £63,290. The entry-level version features a 256bhp front-mounted motor and a 74kWh battery, delivering a WLTP range of 355 miles. A larger battery option boosts range to the full 426 miles, and all-wheel drive will also be available.
3. Genesis GV60 Magma

This more premium alternative to the high-performance Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will share key components, including an 89kWh battery and a 641bhp dual-motor setup. According to its chief development manager, it’s designed with “the gentleman driver” in mind, but still built to deliver an exciting, spirited driving experience.
2. GWM Ora 07

The Ora 07 is the saloon version of the Ora 03 supermini (previously known as the Ora Funky Cat), and it's expected to be priced under £35,000. In its top-spec version, it offers an impressive 354-mile range and serious performance, thanks to two motors producing a combined 402bhp.

Following the success of the Ioniq 5 N, expectations are high for the upcoming Ioniq 6 N sports saloon. It’s set to feature an 86kWh battery and dual motors delivering four-wheel drive—but the real headline is its performance: 641bhp and 549lb ft of torque. It’s shaping up to be something special.
