Top 10 SUVs Coming in 2025 and Beyond
Get ready for a wave of new SUVs rolling out over the next couple of years...
10. Volkswagen T-Roc
The Volkswagen T-Roc is one of the UK’s favourite cars, and a brand-new version is already being tested on the road. The design looks like a fresh update rather than a complete overhaul, with a modern twist on the familiar style.
Don’t hold your breath for an all-electric T-Roc, though—that’s more the vibe of VW’s ID lineup. The upcoming model will probably stick to a similar mix of petrol and hybrid options similar to the current version.
9. Skoda Epiq
Skoda’s got a new all-electric SUV coming soon that’s set to shake up the budget EV market. Named the Epiq, it’s an affordable alternative to the Kamiq, with a starting price around £21,300. Skoda is aiming for over 248 miles of range thanks to a 56kWh battery, and it’ll be packed with parts from VW’s popular ID2. Expect to see it on sale in 2025.
8. Range Rover EV
Heads up, luxury SUV fans—an all-electric Range Rover is dropping soon! The design will stick close to the classic Range Rover look, but everything under the bonnet is getting an electric overhaul. While the exact details are still under wraps, Range Rover says it’ll deliver performance on par with the V8 model, which boasts 530hp and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Think of it as a sleek, all-electric rival to the Volvo EX90, with all the power and style you’d expect from a Range Rover.
7. Porsche Cayenne EV
Get ready—an all-electric Porsche Cayenne is coming, set to debut in 2025 as a high-powered alternative to the BMW iX. Porsche plans to sell it alongside an upgraded, more efficient version of the petrol Cayenne, so you’ll have options. The electric Cayenne will share parts with the Audi Q6 e-tron and the Porsche Macan EV, likely packing a 100kWh battery for around 300 miles of range.
6. Volvo EX60
Volvo’s got a new electric SUV in the works, set to fit right between the EX30 and EX90, and it’ll be called the EX60.
Details on the powertrain are still under wraps, but we know it’ll be electric and built on a brand-new platform, not sharing parts with the larger EX90. Our best guess? A range close to 400 miles sounds about right for this new model.
5. Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y is gearing up for a refresh in 2025, following in the footsteps of the revamped Model 3 from last year. Expect the SUV to get similar styling upgrades, like sleeker lights and redesigned bumpers.
Codenamed “Juniper,” the new Model Y will likely feature an updated interior with higher-quality materials and a redesigned dashboard. Rumour has it there might even be a slight price drop, just like with the latest Model 3.
4. Hyundai Ioniq 9
Hyundai is finally set to reveal the Ioniq 9 in November, its answer to the Kia EV9. Originally shown as a concept a few years back, it turned heads with its futuristic design and unique interior vibe.
While Hyundai’s keeping the exact specs under wraps, the Ioniq 9 will likely have a lot in common with the EV9, including a 100kWh battery. Expect it to go on sale in 2025 with prices starting around £60,000.
3. BMW iX3
Meet the BMW Neue Klasse X, a concept that gives us a sneak peek at the next-gen iX3. For the first time, BMW is setting the X3 and iX3 apart as distinct models, with the electric version sporting design elements inspired by the Neue Klasse sedan.
While BMW hasn’t shared all the specs yet, the Neue Klasse X will come with a new generation of batteries that are 28% more efficient than BMW’s current EVs.
2. Audi Q3
The Audi Q3 has been around for a while, but a new model is on the horizon. Following the recent reveal of the Audi Q5, the upcoming Q3 will have some similar design cues, like slim headlights and a wide grille peeking through the camo.
Inside, expect a similar setup too, possibly with a curved dashboard display. It’ll likely offer petrol, diesel, and hybrid options. Audi’s been rolling out updates nonstop this year, with new Q6 e-tron, A6 e-tron, A5, and Q5 models debuting, so we’re probably looking at early 2025 for the new Q3’s launch.
1. Dacia Bigster
Check out the new Dacia Bigster! As the name implies, it’s a larger SUV than the Duster, boasting a rugged design but with more length for added practicality inside.
The Bigster comes equipped with a brand-new hybrid system that combines a four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a total of 155hp. This new competitor to the Citroen C5 Aircross is set to hit the market next year, with prices starting at under £30,000.
