Over 35 mpg, 0 to 60 under 6 seconds, seats 5 aldults comfortably, Bower & Wilkins sound system, quiet and smooth even on motorways, all leather interior. Front seats 18 way adjustable with lumber support with air adjustable side panels for your body, heated & air conditioned front seats, Drivers with memory, automatic lights, footwell lights, windscreen wipers, headlamp wash, dimming rear mirror, door locking, dipping near side wing mirror when reversing and 8 speed auto gearbox with paddle changes on steering wheel, interior control lighting for door locking and central consul, puddle lights in wing mirrors, heated front and rear screen, speed limiter, road ice engine calmer for better grip, front & rear park sensors with rear parking camera, sat nav, cruise control, hands free phone, blue tooth phoned connection to play your tunes, hard disc to load 10 CD’s with appropriate software to play as required, DAB/FM/AM radio with multiple station to select and save, 20” Alloy wheels with space saver spare , unrated suspension to handle thinner tyres on 20” wheels. Soft close boot lid, sun visor vanity mirrors with light. It’s 7 years old, done 50k miles, still turns heads and has never broken down or needed any other repairs. Only annual service required and just 2 light bulbs renewed. Taken it abroad with 5 adults with luggage several times, Absolutely love it. Last of its kind it seems with partial leather and manual adjustable seats being offered on today’s XF. I have driven Jaguars since the Mk 2, but it seems today’s Jaguar Executives do not understand the pedigree of this great British icon. They no doubt will argue their cheaper builds enables more units to sold, saving the company financially rather than the reputation for quality their predecessors built.

Fantastic car, so easy to drive and can be good fun. It goes when you want to or it will just trickle along in the traffic so relaxing. Does up to 40 mpg on a run and about 32 mpg around town. Best car I have ever owned.

I have always found the car to be reliable ,easy to drive, expensive to service and let down by Jaguar Exeter who left me high and dry waiting to be picked up at a designated place for over 1.5 hours whilst the car was serviced. Have been thinking of changeing to an XE but may consider other makers.
