The Car I had brought from them had a major fault within 6 months of purchase. The warranty I paid £500 for decided wear and tear without inspection. After having an independent garage confirm in writing the warranty test was just a drive test and the warranty paper confirming “it needs dismantling to confirm diagnosis” Car planet decided it was nothing to do with them. I went down to the branch to speak to someone in person and they promised verbally and in writing that they will send a recovery truck out to pick up my vehicle. Which they then changed their mind soon after resulting in me going to court. The judge ruled in my favour. The court-ordered payment deadline has now passed and the judgment remains unpaid. I have had to begin formal enforcement action through the County Court to recover the money owed.
