Fraud: CARTRIX BURY Hi https://www.parkers.co.uk/cars-for-sale/dealer/cartrix/500/1002504/ I need to report a this company for fraud Cartrix in bury are advertising cars with mileage far less than they have on the car. Please can you remove the profile from your website I bought a car from them (below) with this issue and I regularly see cars advertised with milage at last MOT higher than the sales advert, here is a small selection however most are fraudulent: Nj13nuc, last MOT 101.1k miles and advert is 98 miles WJ12 EZW 92.8k miles at last MOT in April advertised with 88k on sale. ST63 TWA advertisement says 90k and there are over 93k at last MOT April KP12 FCO advertisement with 100k, MOT last August (nearly a year ago) had more than this My car was mk14zna. I also needed to go via citizen advice to trading standards for how they dealt with me. I have tried to leave a review on auto trader however it has never appeared. All my issues etc are listed below: I would NOT recommend and needed to report to trading standards via citizen advice as they are not part of any trade body I'd seen plenty of ok reviews regarding the company which is why I bought my car from them, I would NOT recommend and needed to report to trading standards via citizen advice as they are not part of any trade body Bought a car , left the dealership moderately happy with the service, few niggles that did not sit right (miles and keys) but gave the benefit of doubt as the reviews were mostly positive Sadly that's as good as it got The aftercare service was in my opinion terrible, although crux of it was rhe car was faulty and I needed to scrap it and feel that they did anything they could to skirt over any issues with the car. It was losing water from day 1 which turned out to be the gasket. Several inaccurate, inconsistent and misleading replies from cartrix regarding the issues and repairs. They completed an independent report on the car which stated it was fit for purpose, the report advised drove at speeds in excess of 50mph yet zero miles added to odometer in the report, I took any other details within the report with a pinch of salt after noting this. Other issues -advertised with 140k miles and collected with 146.7k -advertised with 2 keys, collection with 1 and assurance from sales personnel that any additional keys would "100% be with the paper work as everything stored together". I needed to show the sales advert and was told to speak to the initial sales person (could have been a mistake or could have been misslead) on return from their holiday, 2nd key then provided after the purchase and advised it needed re coding at my travel time / travel expense -several breakdowns due to water loss prior to collecting the key and I needed to drive with coolant and water at all times -the several breakdowns also noted insufficient oil pressure (likely due to the water contamination although not confirmed) this fault got worse and is the one that required the car to be scrapped -breakdown/warnings due to DPF (I drove 100 miles on the motorway twice a week) and EGR, fault codes were on going -several attempts by their garage to repair including fixing some "small leaks that should resolve it " which didn't remediate the issue and further breakdowns occurred and same fault codes still appearing -garage also said the oil pressure warning was due to it not being reset after the oil change (RAC and my garage confirmed this is not the true) -on going fault codes on the car relating to oil, overheating, DPF with reports provided by me to cartrix for their garage to investigate. These were not given to their repair garage when discussing on collection (faults which remain and are the reason I need to scrap the car) -each trip to the garage at my time/expense -advised me the vehicle would be stripped down and a full review/ repair by an engine specialist, this resulted in a loss of car with them for 2 weeks and there is no evidence anything was done other than top up the coolant (hence taking photos of mileage on drop offs subsequent) -the need to constantly chase for updates on the car with calls and emails that were not returned which at the time I felt were to run out the warranty period (no evidence this is the case) -after speaking with citizen advice they stated I should give a specific period in which to reply, the email I had from back was "I have forwarded your mailto the legal department and they will responce back to you in due course" with no further response from them the car has now been scrapped
