I brought a 4x4 rav of this company the front brake calipers were shot I got in touch they got me two at knock down price next clutch went they got me it done cheaper so please they are not all bad.

(court bill £8,000; from Stourbridge News). [making false statements in advertisements relating to the description of motor vehicles; fabricating a vehicle’s service history and claiming a vehicle had come to him from a main dealer when it had in fact come from an auction; advertising a car with a false mileage indication as it had been fitted with a replacement odometer, which the customer was not told about; failed to tell the consumer that there were advisories on MOT certificates relating to worn brake pads and discs]. Quote: 'Councillor Stuart Turner, cabinet member responsible for trading standards, said: “Our trading standards team works to protect the rights of consumers across the borough. This should send a clear message out to all traders that if they work outside of the law we will not hesitate to take action.” Various companies are/ have been associated with Hickman: DS Motors Lye Ltd; Seymour Motor Company Ltd; D S MOTORS LTD (stourbridge}; Dudley Road Motors (Stourbridge) and possibly, Steves Autos Stourbridge etc. Following a purchase Hickman became untruthful and threatening. It was when research was undertaken which revealed his CONVICTION FOR FRAUD. As advertised it is a family business........... he is not the only individual that operates within the firms mentioned. If you buy a vehicle and have problems it will cost via court system in money, time and effort........so if you do decided to buy from this company remember you don't really have any room to moan as you were warned. As it is said caveat emptor.
