Cars2 Nissan Huddersfield

Bought a car from Cars2 Nissan in Huddersfield at the end of May 2023. Everything was good until the car's clutch went. The car had been driven 1500 miles. As I was expecting, the extended warranty that was offered does not cover such thing. £95 + VAT to do a diagnostic test to find out if there was a chance that it might be covered under the warranty. 3 weeks wait just for the diagnostic test to be done. No courtesy car available in the meantime. I also found out that the extended warranty is not through Nissan and would need to be claimed back if it did turn out to be covered by warranty. These things are not mentioned at point of sale. Save yourself time, effort and money and do not bother with the extended warranty offered. As for the clutch, it is pointless buying a car from a main dealership as there are no real benefits. On a positive the Nissan car itself is really good.
