This garage used to be Ok but their competency has deteriorated. The first problem was earlier this year when, shortly after a repair by LCM, something fell off the car from underneath, then the under tray began flapping. I had to go back for them to fix it. The second mistake was when LCM’s mechanic forgot to screw the cap down on the coolant expansion tank after carrying out repairs. My car broke down six miles from their garage on the M5 for overheating, which was a dangerous situation since i was in the outside lane and the car switched to limp home mode and power was suddenly reduced. When I checked under the bonnet all the coolant from the tank was gone and the cap was barely on. I was on my way to work and lost half a day. They did apologise, rectified the problem and offered me a free service as compensation. Their third, and most dangerous mistake is that the front brake pads which they recently fitted have been fitted THE WRONG WAY AROUND. I will not be taking up their offer of that free service, in fact, i will never let them touch my car again. P.S. Their new slogan “Making vehicles safer” COULD NOT BE ANY FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
