Absolutely stunned by the extremely poor service we’ve received. We paid a £500 deposit in good faith for a 21‑plate X‑Trail after being assured by Trevor Cole and David Spencer that it was a fantastic example. The photos and videos certainly suggested that.However, the car delivered to us in Aberdeen was nothing like what we were led to expect. It arrived with significant damage, including a cracked bumper, clear signs it hadn’t even been valeted, and an engine that sounded genuinely concerning. Despite repeatedly asking, we were never provided with a video that included the engine running — and now we know why. We immediately rejected the car on delivery due to its condition. We were then promised a full refund, including the £500 deposit. Instead, we’ve had constant excuses, delays, and broken promises such as “it’ll be in your account by the end of the day” or “we need the car back first” — even after the car was already returned.To make matters worse, the delivery driver informed us that the vehicle broke down on its way back and had to be recovered. That says everything about the state of the car we were nearly sold.We feel completely let down and are still waiting for the refund we were assured of. This experience has been unacceptable from start to finish.
