⚠️ Warning if you are thinking of buying an AUDI from Marshall Oxford read this first and make up your own mind , but I wish I’d never gone near this place ⚠️ After buying a Brand new unregistered car with options as part of the deal the dealership now refuse to provide the £2,000 worth of options : 4th year warranty / Alloy wheel cover / Free first service with some additional accessories. The business manager Johnathan Heathcote made every effort to not deliver the new car. I was told when I paid my deposit that as the car was at a Marshall dealership 50 miles away I should be sat in it within a maximum of 7-10 days. It took two months as the business manager would not create an order as he didn’t like the deal that the decision maker being the Sales manager had made. Four weeks in and only when I drove a three hour round trip to the dealership and demand action from the dealership manager Mark Thornber was the order raised. Then I’m told the car will be delayed by another two to three weeks because of a forthcoming dealership audit. You couldn’t make this up !!! The business manager then doesn’t add the options to the order. But I’m told by the sales team via emails multiple times not to worry a supplementary order will be raised but it never materialised. I was then told the paperwork for the options would be handed over on collection and again this was a lie. On the collection day I’m told by the business manager Johnathan Heathcote that the options will be delivered and not hampered if I score the dealership favourably in an Audi UK survey that I will receive within 72hrs. I call that blackmail the dealership manager Mark Thornber calls it asking for more time “what ever that means”. More time i’d suspect for the 10 day window for the Audi UK survey to expire as to not damage the dealerships bonuses. Then Mark Thornber uses the reason for non delivery of options is because I signed the order even though I’ve shared multiple copies of emails telling me not to worry it’s all in hand but he is not willing to listen. So I visit the dealership again to request answers as my emails and phone calls are otherwise being fobbed off or ignored. When I approach the Business manager Johnathan Heathcote he says I’m not speaking to you get out of my room. The Dealership Manager Mark Thirnber says he is busy and cannot talk which was just an excuse as for the first fifteen minutes on my arrival he hid in an office with the service manager who greeted me. So I sat waiting at the sales consultants desk and then went to get a coffee. Another customer on route said is everything ok , I replied I wish I’d never ever purchased a car from here and carried on my way to the coffee machine. Then I’m intimidated by the 6ft 5” Mark Thornber and Johnathan Heathcote ex sportsman demanding I leave as they are not accepting me going around spreading lies to customers. “ What utter rubbish “ and now the dirty tricks start as to try and turn the tables. I leave and outside in the carpark the sales consultant comes up to me and says I cannot believe you are being treated like this. Totally fake empathy mind you as he played a large part in dishing out the lies and deception. What the management team don’t realise is that the sales consultant would tell me what was actually going on when put under pressure and he was adamant that Johnathan Heathcote didn’t like the lever of bonus the dealership where making from the deal and therefore didn’t want to do it even though it wasn’t his choice. So he delayed everything. > I was issued a PCP £12,000 more than the agreed price. > The management team never phone back when you call. > The GM Mark Thornber denies activities actually happened. Doesn’t seam to remember that I sat in front of him with the sales executive and ran him through what the sales team had agreed and even left him a copy of the options which had been agreed. > The management team don’t ever do what they say they will as as example , the GM didn’t sort the transportation of the car as promised three weeks in. > The 4th year warranty hasn’t been added for which the business manager tried to make me believe. Now I’ve been informed by Audi this option can only be added at the time of the order therefore not post order or on collection day so another lie. > I’m bribed by the Business manager Johnathan Heathcote to score the Audi UK survey favourably to not hamper the outstanding options. What can only be to protect the dealerships bonus and I’m afraid “I can’t be bought.” > The General manager tries to offer a good will gesture of a free first service when this was part of the agreed deal anyway “is he for real ! “ > My sales executive who conducted the handover of my car didn’t know how to open the bonnet (frunk) and how the car works. I left not knowing how 90% of the car worked. App not working and software glitches.
