Saw the car on Auto Trader and sent a message about viewing it. He replied within minutes, and I arranged to see the car the next day. During the viewing, I noticed one of the brake lights wasn’t working, and he had it fixed before the following day. I paid a deposit and picked the car up the next morning. The whole process was very easy, smooth, and pleasant, would definitely recommend!

Having agreed a price subject to viewing the Jaguar XJ he was selling, I visited ready to put a deposit on the car and arrange a bank transfer for the balance and accepting that there were two minor faults on the car, I arrived to be told of two other problems not previously discussed and that if I wanted this trader to fix these additional faults, the price agreed could not be as agreed but suggested that another £1000 had been offered by another buyer sight unseen. Having traveled for an hour to see the car felt that he was not being honest or prepared to honour the verbal agreement he had made with me ...needless to say did not buy the car
