Commenting on the 1 star review below. The car was 21years old, came in part ex with current mot. Unfortunately people , I do not sell new or nearly new cars, it’s impossible when there of this age and at 2500pound. What an utter tool

Travelled 45 minutes to view a BMW with a 6 month MOT (no previous advisories), bodywork was presented as very clean with minor wear and tear along with an airbag light. Upon arrival I instantly noticed the lack of lacquer on the front and rear bumpers making them stick out massively compared to the rest of the body. Started up fine, although very low fuel, and popped the bonnet to find the engine cover missing and 2 rather large oil leaks (valve cover gasket and oil cooler gasket)upon further investigation when checking the brakes, both front and rear brake discs had a 3mm lip around the edges (making this a serious MOT failure) along with near invisible brake pads. Obviously I am looking for a used car with expected wear and tear, however the condition of the car was simply appalling. Either the garage has had a friendly MOT put on the car to help it sell , or they have failed to complete even a basic walkaround check for issues Wouldn’t reccomend at all

I have dealt with this garage for over 20 years and they are totally professional. I gave the owner £5000 to buy me a car at the auctions and it is the best car i ve ever had. I get the car serviced here every year and if they say they have repaired something on the car or changed the brakes it has been done. They are totally honest and professional. I highly recommend this garage.

With regards to Stewart Cameron below. I’ve just been advised of this post. The customer came and test drove the car by himself for approximately 25 minutes, said “he will think about it”, he got back to me later in the day saying he would take the car, which he did. The customer lives 45 minutes / 34 miles away and would have more than likely used the A1 to get home. He said “it did not get home”, it took him 14 days to tell me he had problems, of which I said “bring it in a couple of days and I will have a look at the car”, this was not good enough, but the customer would not let me look at the car and wanted a refund. The garage by law has to be able to insect the car which he would not allow, all he was interested in is a refund. It seems the customer has read on the internet about distance sale, where some one can purchase a vehicle online without seeing before hand (but this customer had seen and driven), he just thought he was getting a free car for 14 days. He said “I got snappy”, I was not, he was the one threatening to burn my garage down, he has been sabotaging my adverts on social media since December. I did around 800 miles in the car which he says I didn’t. I covered no faults on the car, it came in part ex, I used the car whilst up for sale. I try to help everyone as much as I can, I’m one person, I can’t always drop everything there and then but I will always help. This was on a car that was 21 years old that covered 144000miles

AVOID!! I purchased a car from here and it didn't even get me home. Upon inspection by an independent garage the car was found to have multiple issues. Sensors etc were disconnected but no warning lights on the dash for them. They had been tampered with to not show as a fault on the dash. The rear brake discs had been stuck together at the back and coated with paint to try and hide it. The rear tyres had metal wire showing through on the inner side walls. The front disc brakes had also been painted to disguise the condition of them. The front wheels were missing the spigots so the wheels were vibrating like mad as you got over 40mph, this had also caused the front wheel bolts to bend. Bushes on the front and rear had been filled with sealant in the rubber to try and hide the deteriorated condition. The rear air suspension had been tampered with so it did not show any warning lights on the dash but it was faulty and not working. The automatic gearbox was holding gears and not changing up or down correctly. When it did change gear it was with a violent jerk. The front windscreen washer jets didn't work and needed a new motor but that was a minor issue compared to the rest. I contacted Andrew about the problems with the car and his response was it was working ok and he had driven it 800 miles before I purchased it. This meant he either knew of the issues with the car as I only managed 7 miles until it had to be recovered or he hadn't driven it 800 miles. Either way he was being dishonest. I asked him when was convenient to have the car returned to him for a refund. His response was if I drop it off with him in a few days time and leave it with him for a week he'll have a look at it. I was not happy with this option as he had already proved he was dishonest by saying the car had no issues and he had driven it 800 miles. Also with the list of issues the car had that had been deliberately covered up to sell the car to an unlucky buyer (me in this occasion) I wouldn't trust him to repair the car safely. Andrew then got snappy with me saying I can't do anything despite what I might have been told by the internet and he isn't refunding anything. Now I have had to start a claim against the garage as I am down thousands of pounds with a car for the scrap to show for it. He is purposely hiding faults on cars to cover up the issues to sell them on. This is very dishonest but also VERY unsafe. The car I purchased was to be a family car with young children as passengers. The independent garage found the car to be extremely unsafe. The tyres, brakes and suspension were all faulty and the front wheels were not even fitted correctly and with bent bolts. Please do not purchase from Andrew and Peart motors, the cars he sells are dangerous and there is no after sales care or support at all.

Regarding Love Moore This person used a different name, called Kiki Crawford when messaged about the van. The van does have advisories, which was not motd by me, it came in part exchange and had been motd by the previous owner, I’m not a mot tester nor do I own an mot station. We are talking about an ex builders van that was up at £1499 that was 17 years old that this person bid me £850 on. I have the picture of the conversation but this does not allow pics on here. Conversation from Love/ Kiki- would ya take £850 for it? My reply- If your being honest and you were me, Would you honestly discount the van by almost 50 per cent? Love/Kiki- It has serious repair. The advisories are pretty serious. So yeah. My reply- Most vehicles will have advisories on for corrosion when they are 17 years old, especially vans. You need a new van Good bye, and I left the conversation as I can not discount by that amount, I’m not a charity I do not know how some one can call that being rude, or dishonest or say keep away when they didn’t even view the van, then say I can’t hold a conversation when I left as there was nothing more to say, they sent a handfull of messages, they messaged not called as they probably don’t have the gumption to talk to someone on a phone never mind face to face. How someone can leave a rating on something like this is crazy all because she didn’t get her way, she must have way too much time on her hands

Do not touch this dealership. Contacted them regarding a van that they are trying to sell with a dodgy MOT. I offered them half the asking price, he came back with a really rude reply and asked if 'If your being honest and you were me, Would you honestly discount the van by almost 50 per cent?' To which I replied, the advisories are very serious and so I thought the offer was quite apt. To which he replied 'Most vehicles will have advisories on for corrosion when they are 17 years old, especially vans. You need a new van Good bye' and blocked me. The advisories were oil leak Exhaust leak Rear rear axel corroded Subframe corroded. Rear coilsprings corroded. Can't see how these advisories are legit and would think these things would fail an MOT. I Suspect MOT fraud, and relying on people not doing these checks so they can get rid of vehicles overpriced and con people. If he can't have an adult conversation without being childish just because I under offered him, he shouldn't be in the car buisness at all. Hideously unprofessional and I'm glad and very lucky I didn't buy a vehicle if this is the way they treat potential customers. Stay away from this garage. There was literally no reason to get all personal and be so rude, imagine having an issue with a car and being blocked or spoken to like that. Absolutely pathetic. If I could give -stars I would. If you don't check the vehicles on the free Government website these will have your eyes out. I've looked at many vans this past few weeks and he's lying when he says all old cars and vans will have advisories. Most honest trustworthy people will tell you about these and sell the vehicles cheaper. And/or repair the advisories before sale. He's lying and can't hold an adult conversation without getting his 'feelings hurt'. Had to leave a review due to too many garages relying on people being stupid and taking honest and trusting people to the cleaners. Be warned ⚠️ stay clear of this garage. They don't care about anything other than money and the ability to rob nice people. Disgusting. Have a nice day!
